Job Description

Exquisite is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer who is self-driven and thrives working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that operates on collaboration and partnership with all business stakeholders. The primary responsibility of the QA Engineer is to prevent defects. In addition, they are responsible for identifying and eliminating any mistakes in code before its release to customers. Such errors could result from various issues such as insufficient data input or an improperly designed interface element.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems with software before a product launch. These tests entail other tasks such as developing and running new tests and reporting their results to stakeholders, who will collaborate to fix program bugs or problems.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and Execute Test Plans for iOS, Android, and ASP.NET
• Develops and executes software test protocols and automated testing systems for each product to demonstrate it meets all significant product specifications and requirements.
• Develops and documents requirements specifications, test protocols in support of the test plan.
• Performs anomaly investigations, resolution, and development of applicable test cases to ensure coverage for anomalies in test protocols.
• Identifies, recommends, and manages outside test resources in support of verification, validation and compliance testing.
• Provide T&E subject matter expertise as teams evolve and apply testing best practices. Evaluate, recommend, and implement test techniques, tools, and strategies; provide testing knowledge and understanding for the support of user requirements of complex software/hardware applications
• Solve problems across the MITRE sponsor domain (e.g., DoD, DHS, VA, IRS, CMS)
• Ensure robust test data preparation and management processes and practices
• Support government leaders in defining and implementing their T&E Strategies, leveraging Agile/SAFe practices
• Work with software and system engineers to evaluate and improve large, complex systems
• Apply principles of test and evaluation to AI systems and to systems in model-based engineering environments and as part of DevSecOps pipelines
• Participate in and contribute to key program technical documentation, and support the customer/sponsor in making necessary system acceptance decisions
• Adapting development and test practices to emerging and evolving best practices and policies for developmental and operational testing
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative systems engineering analyses that can be translated into actionable recommendations for federal agencies
• Bring together the right people, tools, and processes to solve complex problems
  

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Knowledge of Jira and Zephyr
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years related experience or equivalent in software testing, medical device software testing preferred
• Proficient in Software Engineering, Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience working within product development quality system
• Software testing experience with C#, C/C++, Xamarin, iOS, and Android, and Net and Windows environments is a must.
• Industry experience within Medical Devices is highly preferred
• Experience evaluating, recommending, and implementing test techniques, tools, and strategies
• Documented success applying principles of test and evaluation to AI systems and to systems in model-based engineering environments and as part of DevSecOps pipelines
• Proficient problem-solving skills and capability to collaborate with scientists, analysts, technical experts, and subject matter experts across several technical disciplines
• Desire to learn new techniques and approaches while on the job by leveraging structured educational content, published research, and expertise from team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
