Job Description

Exquisite is seeking WordPress Developers who are highly skilled individuals who can efficiently work with design teams and implement websites for companies using WP creation tools.

You will be building websites for our subsidiaries, their project, and our clients. We currently use Brizy.pro but will be adding to our arsenals of tools in the near future. Brizy. pro has around 60 templates and is easy to learn, manage, and use. You may also be responsible for creating custom plugins, setting up WooCommerce stores (except the products, updating, modifying, and securing WordPress sites and servers

For the WooCommerce stores -- We have a data-entry team for entering and setting up the images, categories, and products to keep you focused on WordPress and WooCommerce specifically.

As WordPress Developer, you should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Setup and manage new WordPress websites, themes, and content based on the Task Order Agreement.
• Work closely and collaboratively with others to develop solutions.
• Share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues.
• Employ build tools like Gulp, Grunt, WebPack, Rollup, etc.
• Utilize WordPress technologies like WP-CLI and the WP-REST-API
  
  

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be dedicated, passionate and hard-working. Attitude is everything.
• Must be able to work with a team and collaborate remotely. Hard workers and self-starters please apply.
• Experience testing on various screen sizes that we have determined.
• Must have experience working in an agency production environment.
• A keen eye for details, even the small nuances such as Horizontal scrollbars.
• Expert WordPress experience, a developer that truly understands WP under the hood (modifications, custom plugins, themes, etc.
  
• Familiarity with MySQL, PHP, WordPress, and WooCommerce.
• Experience optimizing WordPress and it's components
• Strong knowledge of SEO strategies and standards.
• Recommended: Have more than 3 years and a strong knowledge PHP 7.x+ and Linux-based systems.
• Recommend: Experience creating WordPress plugins but not required
  
• Recommend: Knowledge of Git so we are able to keep a clean history of events that have been taken place and work as a team while working on projects that require team effort on plugins.
