Job Description

Exquisite is seeking Software Engineers who are self-driven and thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that operates on collaboration and partnership with all business stakeholders. As Software Engineer, you'll need to research, design, and write new software programs (e.g. business applications or computer games) and computer operating systems. evaluate the software and systems that make computers and hardware work. Develop existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.

As Software Engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects that vary from internal projects to client projects. The span of technologies we use can spread across the entire spectrum. These projects may belong to our partner companies as well. You will always be learning and working with new technologies. You must be a self-motivated and enthusiastic member of our team, you will work with extremely talented peers in a fun environment building performance efficient, highly scalable, configurable, and available systems. You will work in an agile environment with a focus on problem-solving and engineering excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and architects across different teams to design and develop solutions
• Strive to develop solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles
• Design, develop, and test features and functions delivered via applications and services
• Collaborate with peers and seniors both within your team and across the organization
• Identify Performance bottlenecks and use good coding patterns to avoid them
• Implementation of the designs into the application.
• Developing client and server applications and services using service oriented architectures, message bus based data exchange that include first-of-a-kind capabilities.
• Applications will span languages and toolsets including C++, Java, C#, JavaScript, Node, Python, Postgres, Ansible, cloud infrastructure provisioning, PKI, and static code analysis execution and finding remediation. 
• Developer will be expected to be a self-starter capable of making decisions with overall project budget and schedule in mind.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• We are hiring at multiple levels! B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field is preferred, coupled with 3-10+ years’ professional experience
• Development experience with high-traffic backend services
• Direct experience with concepts such as SOA, REST APIs, message-based communication
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, SQL, MongoDB, Redis, Continuous Integration & Deployment
• Experience with Agile and Scrum
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong working experience with Swagger, API Documentation, Development, and Testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with Scrum methodology
• Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and use good coding patterns
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.4/4.0 or higher
• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
• Experience working with Java, Linux, Ansible, Docker, Freeflyer, Front-end application development
